Flower Battle. Keiplanet, South Korea. Full hanafuda deck, 52 single-headed cards + instruction leaflet.
Deck make-up:
12x monthly suits: 4 cards each.
Extras: jokers x4.
A 2020 attempt to make an international hanafuda deck (with regular-sized Western cards) and to bring the Korean version of the game koi-koi, called go-stop, to other countries. www.flowerbattle.com says: "We have transformed the conventional and locally popular Korean/Japanese card game, giving it a completely new design, friendly wording and an overall modern feel." Available widely via Amazon etc.
In this deck, bright/hikari cards are distinguished by having a gold circle/medallion in them. Meanwhile, animal/tane cards have a chequered/mosaic border. The months each have a different colour-coded border. While the instructions detail just one (rather complicated) game, there is no reason this pack cannot be used for any other game involving hanafuda/hwatu cards.
